How long can Bisolvon® be taken?

Bisolvon® is one of the standard therapies in the case of productive cough. Decades of usage and experience have proven its safety and good tolerability. Please refer to the package leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist for information about how long you should take Bisolvon®. In any case, if your cough lasts longer than about one week, you should ask a doctor for advice.

May I take Bisolvon® during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

As with all medication, you should ask for your doctor's advice whether you can take Bisolvon® during pregnancy, if you are likely to become pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.

Can Bisolvon® be used by diabetics?

The paediatric version of Bisolvon® as well as Bisolvon® tablets both contain neither sugar nor alcohol and are thus suitable for diabetics. For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the package leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Under what circumstances should I not take Bisolvon® at all?

Bisolvon® should for example not be used by patients known to be hypersensitive to bromhexine or other ingredients. In any case, always carefully read the package leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Bisolvon®.
